Football Betting News: Arsenal Score Five over Hapless Reading

FOOTBALL BETTING NEWS – Arsenal began to penetrate the Premier League’s top five as they recorded a marvellous win over Reading 2-5 in Monday’s fixture. Santi Cazorla’s hat-trick brought The Gunners forward.

Lukas Podolski opened scoring by converting Kieran Gibbs’ cross. Cazorla added his first of three goals in the game through a header that went past through Reading’s feeble defence. Within two minutes, the Spaniard beat keeper Adam Federici to the goal to add his second one.

Towards the second half, Cazorla proved successful in his aim to leave a footpr1nt for Arsenal by scoring his third through an assist from Podolski.  Reading responded with two goals within five minutes each from Adam Le Fondre and Jimmy Kebe.

Theo Walcott effectively finished off Reading’s threat of a comeback attempt through a fine finish. The result served as to redeem Arsenal’s hopes of a top-four finish, despite a lacklustre start to the season.
