Stalemate on Deepavali: Netherlands and Germany End Friendly Goalless

THE LATEST SPORTS NEWS – Netherlands and Germany were without their important players when they faced on Wednesday’s friendly, which ended in a 0-0 draw.


Germany did not feature Bastian Schweinsteiger, Jerome Boateng, Toni Kroos, Mesut Ozil, Miroslav Klose and Mario Gomez due to injuries and sicknesses. The same went for Dutch players Robin van Persie, Kevin Strootman and Wesley Sneijder.

Germany looked set to win w1th ease over the Netherlands as Marco Reus’ partnership with Mario Gotze and Ilkay Gundogan came close to producing goals. Arjen Robben was the Dutch hosts’ weapon, producing narrow attempts on goal.
