THE LATEST UEFA ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Former midfielder and now Football Development Executive of Manchester City Patrick Vieira assured that manager Roberto Mancini remains loyal and dedicated to the club.


Highly acclaimed for City’s recent rise in English football, Mancini led the club to win an FA Cup and Premier League title as its manager. Despite an unbeaten run and being second place behind Manchester United, the Italian has come under criticism for the club’s lacklustre showing.

While City did not win w1th ease against United in last season’s league title race, many still see the club as a potential title-winning candidate. Vieira said that much credit belongs “to Mancini because he has worked hard to bring silverware to the football club.

De Rossi was included in City’s signing checklist in last summer’s transfer window. Now, the midfielder has expressed interest for a transfer away from the Italian capital club.
