Arsenal Equalize Against Schalke in UEFA Champions League Match

THE LATEST UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEWS – Schalke 04 hosted a sharper Arsenal squad in their UEFA Champions League match on Tuesday, the match ending in a 2-2 draw.


Arsenal looked in prime shape to win with ease as Theo Walcott, in his first Champions League appearance this season, opened the scoring in the first half. Olivier Giroud headed The Gunners’ second goal.

Schalke fought back towards the second half, as Klaas-Jan Huntelaar slotted for the German outfit shortly before half time. A second one came from Jefferson Farfan with less than 23 minutes left. Arsenal threatened to fight back with thwarted attempts from Walcott and Giroud.
